Meet Amara

I didn't always know who I was or where I belonged, even though I grew up Christian.

From a young age, I wrestled with my identity. I searched for where I belonged, longing to be seen, accepted, and loved. I was deeply sensitive to the people and environments around me, and over time, the wounds of rejection, bullying, trauma, fear, and brokenness began to shape the way I saw myself. I stopped speaking up and being “the good girl” when I was the target of many for standing up, telling the truth, seeking justice and simply being “too kind” most my life.

Yet the enemy still works his 24/7 shifts. He has shown himself consistent to frame, set up, deceive, steal, kill and destroy Gods Plans! He had caught up in his massive manipulating games, lies and tack ticks to keep me bound in chains!

Without realizing it, I learned to survive instead of truly live.

I held onto rehearsing, replaying, reliving every pain, every heartbreak, every shame game like it was my last name

So to speak, like many of us, I developed patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that protected me from pain. Or the other end of the coin, to keep my companion of self-loathing, self-pity and self-soothing patterns.

What once helped me survive eventually became chains that kept me from walking in the freedom God had already spoken over my life. The giants I faced became the voices I believed. Fear, shame, rejection, performance, people-pleasing, comparison, anxiety, and insecurity slowly veiled the person God created me to be.

But Jesus came to remove the veil. Gods still working!! Daily, moment by moment the enemy comes to keep the veil of devices over us. But Christ came to set us free.

The Unveiling was born from a journey that is still unfolding. It is not a place where someone who has "arrived" teaches those who have not. It is a place where healing is pursued while walking with the Great Healer. It is a place where we allow the Holy Spirit to expose every lie that has hidden our true identity and replace it with God's truth.

Together, we will open the Scriptures, study God's Word, ask honest questions, and invite Him into every place that has remained hidden. We will confront fear with faith, shame with grace, lies with truth, and bondage with the freedom found in Christ.

Every discussion, every Bible study, every testimony, and every lesson has one purpose:

To peel back every lie the enemy has placed over our hearts until the beloved beneath the bondage is revealed.

This is more than my story.

It is an invitation for your own unveiling.

Welcome to The Unveiling.

In Christ,

Amara Ofori

My prayer is that you won't simply learn more about God, but that you will encounter Him personally. That you will discover who He says you are. That you will be set free from living from wounds and begin living from your identity as His beloved child. May the LORD keep unveiling every trauma, deception , false identity, and spiritual bondage from your life.

In Jesus Name, AMEN
